The revolution in winegrowing is progressing continuously and quite peacefully. Rather than grand gestures and excessive application of technology, it is more a question of flair, persistence and infinite patience for experimentation. Sensitive but systematic working in the vineyard is more in demand than ever to achieve the best from the natural potential of soil, climate and vine. Our viniculture knowhow is passed down from generation to generation but is still continuously subjected to critical questioning.
 
The striving for optimum wine quality determines our actions. Son Phillip is continuing to uphold the vision that father Werner has always pursued: to produce distinctively elegant but at the same time complex wines with brilliance and long-term cellar potential.
